The ACP has now been operating for 5 years and as the second Chairman of the Association of Credit Professionals, I take great pride in what the ACP is doing.

Together with my fellow Board Members, we all have a lot of passion, energy, commitment and enthusiasm for the Credit Profession. We are here for you the members.

The Association of Credit Professionals is a non-profit making company limited by guarantee, with the Board Members registered as Directors, giving their time freely for the benefit of all our members.

When the founding Board Members formed the ACP, it was with every member in mind. The ACP is here to serve the membership and support the careers of members.

Within the ACP, members are able to participate fully in the activities of their representative body and feel included. This our third website update since we were created and you can now join and pay on-line via paypal - simply click the register link above.

Debt judgments plummet to 1989 levels - 28/2/2011 Last year the number of County Court Judgments (CCJs) against businesses in England and Wales plummeted to the lowest level since 1989. In 2010, 27.1 percent fewer debt judgments were  recorded against businesses compared with 2009. In total 150,900 CCJs were issued  according to Registry Trust’s annual statistics. This is 56,200 fewer than last year’s 207,100 judgments.

HSBC sees full year profits more than double - 28/2/2011 HSBC, Europe's biggest bank, has reported pre-tax profits of $19bn (£11.8bn) for 2010, more than double the $7.1bn figure for 2009.
