About the ACP

The Association of Credit Professional is a new organisation formed by Credit Professionals just like you.

Our aim is to advance the world of the Credit Professional and like our new logo says – Unlock your Potential.

With the backup of a professional organisation we will be able to assist people in realising an interesting and varied career.

The ACP has been launched by professionals whom have had varied experiences in the Credit Industry and between them 250 Years of experience. They are all passionate about credit and want to spread the word and get people more involved and be proud of the profession.

Training

Many of us in the industry have been on numerous courses connected to credit run by various organisations. We may have learned a lot but have not been acknowledged for it by advancement in our career. ACP intends to acknowledge ALL Credit and Finance courses.

Networking

Credit can be a lonely job and sometimes we feel we are loved by no one, this goes for all levels in the credit organisation. This is why it is important that we can talk to others within the industry and it is not always possible to attend every conference or event going. We at ACP intend to make sure you can network, know who is in the industry and can help with any issues, be it through personal networking or on line at forums. We know time is precious which is why we want you to have one place to go to find that answer and link to a credit or finance related website.

Career Advancement

We know how important it is for people to move on as quickly as possible but we want to make sure that the Profession has the right caliber of people in the right positions in order for us to achieve the ultimate goal of Credit Managers on Boards of Directors. That’s why at ACP we will make sure you have the right skills for the right job and through advice and training and job links you will find these opportunities.

Your Importance to ACP

ACP is an organisation run by members for members and as a member you will shape how ACP looks and represents itself with in the Credit and Finance Industry.

We all have different experience and skills and views so ACP will change as its membership grows, but we never intend to lose sight of what ACP stands for.
