Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it cost?

Assessments are expected to take two to four days made up of half a day reviewing documentation prior to visiting your premises, some time interviewing your colleagues and staff and half a day reviewing findings and completing the report. For ACP members, this will cost £1000 per day.

Who will complete the assessment?

A Fellow of the ACP who has been through a training course to ensure consistency of assessment will carry out the assessment.

How long will the assessment take?

Once you have applied for an assessment we will contact you to agree the timings. We will ask you to complete a Web Survey and send us some example documentation, which we’ll review prior to coming on-site.

We expect to be on your site for two days during which time we will interview a number of staff and write a draft report. You will be able to respond to the report.

Having received your comments we’ll finalise the report. The report will be reviewed by the ACP Accreditation Board for final approval. This is a bi-monthly meeting.
