Welcome to the Association of Credit Professionals

As the Chairman of the Association of Credit Professionals, I take great pride and, together with my fellow Board Members, have a lot of passion, energy, commitment and enthusiasm for the Credit Profession and what we are trying to achieve.

The Association of Credit Professionals is a non-profit making company limited by guarantee, with the Board Members registered as Directors and giving their time for the benefit of all our members.

When the founding Board Members formed the ACP, it was with every member in mind. The ACP is here to serve the membership and support the careers of members.

Members will be able to participate fully in the activities of their representative body and feel included. The on-line forum is there for you and we want you to use it.

The ACP is different, open, relevant and accessible, run by its members for its members. It's about allowing members to have a say in the running of their professional body and all members have direct access to a dedicated ACP Director there to answer your questions and listen to your suggestions.

Events and meetings will be put on from time to time in different parts of the UK and the ACP will ensure they are welcoming, lively, informative, educational and enjoyable, giving you the opportunity to network with like minded people.

Corporate membership is offered, enabling companies to reward, excite and motivate their staff. Corporate Members are featured on the website and get a direct link to their website.

As part of our social responsibility, we are involved in Finance for Schools, a project with a charity called DebtCred. We train volunteer educators to go into local schools to educate Young People on money matters, good debt, bad debt, good credit, bad credit and how to track their cash. An initiative is under way to involve the government and major companies with this.

We have an ACP Accreditation scheme designed to help credit managers deliver credit management excellence into their organisation. See the brand new feature on this for details.

An NCFE Level 4 Accredited Diploma Course in Credit Management, with successful students getting designated letters MACP (Diploma) to use after their name, is available and presented by Credit Management Training Ltd. Other training courses with discounts for ACP Members are also available. More developments on training will be forthcoming soon!

CCR Magazine (Credit Collections and Risk) is the official monthly informative journal for the ACP, enhancing the credit profession and sent out monthly to ACP members.

Your Voice is our on-line bi-monthly e-magazine and you are welcome to send in articles, stories, news, jokes and photographs for publication.

Membership is growing and all are welcome to join us. Download and complete an application form today.
