Continued Professional Development for Credit Professionals

Attaining a professional qualification provides a sound foundation for the development of a successful career. However, learning is a lifelong journey and as such, there is an overwhelming requirement to keep up to date to meet the ever increasing expectations of employers, customers, staff and industry regulators.  Many members of other professional bodies are active in their ongoing development and we believe the Credit Profession needs to join them.

The common definition of CPD: 

"The systematic maintenance, improvement and broadening of knowledge and skills and the development of personal qualities necessary to the execution of professional, managerial and technical duties throughout anyone’s working career."

CPD involves:

As a professional body, the ACP has an important role to play in society and has a duty to act in the best interests of the Credit Profession. Through participating in the CPD scheme, our members and members of other professional bodies are entitled to CPD Points and Certification proving their Continuing Professional Development.

CPD Certification is provided through training approved by the CPD Certification Service.  Look out for new developments coming soon.
